[00:00:00] Welcome back to Clear Signal. I hope you enjoyed my series on intuition, a four part series, a bit of a departure from the notion of clear signal, but was present when the podcast was called The Unscripted Path and the Aligned Alchemist. And this notion of the unscripted path when it comes to entrepreneurship.
This notion we're choosing our adventure every day. We're making choice points, we're navigating choice points, which is why intuition is so important, which is why I talked about it. And there's also a lot of compare and despair in this industry, particularly in entrepreneurship. Because in entrepreneurship there's a lot of people who've done nothing, and we emulate these names in the space because the general public thinks that's what entrepreneurship is. They get, they think it's Shark Tank, they think it's two dudes talking to one another on a podcast. They think it's about getting up at 4:00 AM and mindset.
And what people who are not entrepreneurs don't realize is a lot of this is manufactured. It is manufactured for affirmational entrepreneur, [00:01:00] inspirational crap. This podcast was inspired originally by nothing heretical. I wanted to say something, but I didn't because I can be heretic on the mic and there's no end to that.
Mark Manson , the guy who wrote, don't give a fuck or whatever that book was that elevated him, he said, you have to allocate the fucks. So I allocate my fucks. And so sometimes I'm heretical in this podcast and sometimes I'm not. Otherwise, it would just become a rant, this podcast was inspired because I'd done some astrological content in the summer and then I was checking it and the podcast was. Recommending me alongside Diary of A CEO by Steven Bartlett and Chris Brennan's podcast, the Astrology podcast. He talks about Hellenistic astrology. And so I was like, this is funny. And I just used that to think about what is diary of a CEO? And that was the inspiration.
I recorded [00:02:00] this in my car and I kept it. Brief because it was 90 degrees. I did it without air conditioning. A lot of my content I just get a moment and I do it like this intro. It was already on my list to redo this podcast as I'm, solidifying any past content as I start to open up the podcast for more folks and something I just saw when I went on Instagram to update my bio.
As I was scrolling through, , which is why I don't go on there. But if you don't know, you get an extra character. If you, I got Instagram playing, I'll stop it. , You get an extra character if you update your bio on the app and there is somebody talking about, Hey, Steven Bartlett and Jay Shetty we're on a podcast. And he was like, this is two wizards of nothingness and it is the most. Quintessential description I ever could, because what happens with me is I see the future. I see what people don't see. I see who people don't see, and then I keep my mouth shut [00:03:00] because at some point, you're just talking negatively about other people and who needs that.
But now the cat is outta the bag. I'm coming back to record this in the spring of 26, a lot of the delusion that's been happening in the spiritual space, in the business space, in the business and spiritual space. Is being seen for what it is in the future. I will give an episode about values, an episode recorded around the time this originally dropped, but I chambered it for whatever reason, and I talk a lot about resonance on my podcast.
I talk a lot about attracting right bees. I talked about repelling, so you can attract, I talk about values oriented marketing so that you are not trying to edit yourself to be somebody you're not. And I edited myself a little bit on this podcast because it wasn't about a person. It wasn't about a podcast.
It wasn't about a commentary. It was just about the fact that, apple recommended this podcast. Let me use it as a sounding board to talk about something I wanted to say. And since then so much has come out, [00:04:00] this whole notion of the interview with Tony Robbins and Alex Hormozi.
The exposure of how surface all of this is. And that's what I was alluding to in the original version of this. I just didn't say it. And one of the most satisfying moments I had last summer. And if you are a sacral being, which you probably are, generator, manifesting generator, we are built for satisfaction.
Success comes as a result of our satisfaction. And sometimes we do things that are just satisfying and it doesn't have to have an end result. It doesn't have to have an end game. It doesn't have to have a metric that someone would applause at. It is just this feeling of satisfaction. And I attracted clients from this podcast and one of my clients unprompted, who will go unnamed.
We had a session shortly after this podcast and she said, oh my God, I can't stand Stephen Bartlett. He sounds like an infant. It sounds like a child interviewing people, and I had never felt so proud in my life. [00:05:00] It's not about being snarky, it's not about being negative. It was like, wow, I am really attracting a discerning client.
People who can see below the bullshit. And that felt really good, and I thought I'd share it. And now let's get into the rest of the content.

I'll keep this brief since I'm recording this on my phone, unplanned in my car, and in order to have no air conditioning, screw up the sound, I'm sitting in a hot car on a 90 degree day
so this month we have this axis of cancer. Capricorn. Capricorn's business and structure, strategic planning. Saturn land cancer is feminine energy. Go with the flow.
When you think about that spectrum of energy and business diary of a , CEO, that's. Interviewing some of the quote, most successful people out there in terms of business. And then you have an astrology podcast and I'm somewhere in the middle and that is something I'm struggling with. The next couple of episodes all have a theme. [00:06:00] They all have to do with the notion of Aquarius and what is Aquarius?
Aquarius is unusual. Aquarius is the future. Aquarius is not what we currently do. Aquarius was typically associated with weird. It is ruled in modern times by Uranus, which is a planet that rotates on its side backwards. And that's a harbinger or a omen or a more positive thing would be, that's a hint of what's to come.
So I thought that was fascinating. Maybe you don't, but I just wanted to share that with you.
What do I want to do with this? And who are the bees I want to attract? We've talked about planting bees and planting flowers for bees, and that's business and. People talk a lot about Diary of A CEO and I'm not a huge fan of that podcast. I don't listen to business podcasts, to be honest, because a lot of them, I've been in the business world for a long time, and that's not to say I know everything, but [00:07:00] I don't think there's anything new under the sun with marketing.
Anything that's new is AI and social media. I'm not a huge proponent of social media. It's not gonna be a huge part of my brand, and if it is, it's gonna be somebody else managing it. And aI is the future. AI is robots.
Robots are also Aquarius. So to me it's a lot of really successful people talking to other really successful people about their wounds and their life and how they were able to use those wounds often to be successful. We often see, and it's been proven by science, that the, some of the most successful people have extreme imposter syndrome built into them.
They're trying to prove the world wrong. They're trying to prove somebody else wrong. They actually care a lot about what other people think. The defined heart in Human Design
People talk a lot about willpower. As one of the rare people who have a defined heart, defined heart is about 28% of the population, if the math is correct.
Most of the people talking about the defined heart don't have one. The defined heart is not about willpower. Discipline is present in all of us. To me, willpower in Human Design has to do [00:08:00] with will you. Do things in a certain way that is sometimes would be considered stubborn. It's this tenacity meets stubbornness, meets competition with yourself. That's really hard to articulate because the words that we'd use don't really, it's not willpower.
It's a will. And what is Willpower is the will to do it my way, I guess. And I've had that since I was born because your Human Design chart is a signature but the reason I share that is because a lot of the people we look up to. Have extreme wounds around personal validation.
I just, I'm kind of thinking about the fact like, huh, wouldn't it be great if we don't have to get to 40? I mean, I happen to be closing in on 48, but that's not the point. Wouldn't it be great to be closing in on whatever and not have to say, well, I'm really successful, but I got here by being wounded.
The sad truth is if they were actually more healthy, they probably actually wouldn't be on that podcast and they wouldn't be labeled successful in our society. Because a lot of what's labeled [00:09:00] successful in our society as toxic as fuck.
And so in that toxic space, things are changing, but there was a lot of toxic, wounded, undefined heart behavior that had to do with work ethic. Work ethic and consistency, and that was loaded. And the episode after this is 13 and 31, and that is a notion of building your foundation your way.
Three is creativity. One is foundation as up to four foundations. 13 is considered the death card in the tarot, but if you flip it, it's just the opposite of 31. You could say building a foundation your way. It's like we look at one example of what building a foundation is.
We look at one way of doing things. The whole notion of consistency over time. If it's not a garden, if it's not going to the gym, if it's not like that, [00:10:00] what does consistency look like? It's something I'm thinking about in this whole podcasting. There's a lot of brainwashing and podcasting about the cadence and this and that, and there's tactical reasons for that.
You build yourself into people's routines. People need to know what to expect from you, et cetera, et cetera. You're gonna grow a podcast faster with that. And there's human behavior, disease reasons, there's tactical reasons, all of that. A lot of psychology behind marketing. But at the end of the day, going back to Diary of CEO, going back to the original name of this podcast, the aligned CEO, you are the CEO of your life.
Not just the CEO of your business. You see a lot of these people elevate toxic as fuck behaviors in the business world, and then their personal life is a sham, or they're very unhappy, or they're very wounded. The episode after this, we talk a little bit about 13 and 31. The episode after that, we talk about the ego center, which is otherwise known as a heart center, which is the most undefined center in the population, [00:11:00] and that has to do with seeking external validation and as literally what business is built off of, it's what performance and. Accolades are built off of, I think it's up to you what consistency looks like, and I get to decide what consistency looks like for this podcast. And in doing so. I may turn a lot of people off because humans are simple people and we like routine. People like to know what they can expect from you and when. You're gonna grow a podcast a lot faster with weekly or twice a week
there's tactical reasons associated with that. And then there's consistency reasons and human behavior reasons. And there's reason I'm sharing that with you is as you become the CEO of whatever you're doing in life, I would say it's the CEO of your life, not the CEO of your business.
Irony that I'm talking about, diary of Aligned CEO, because the first podcast episode for this first version of [00:12:00] the podcast was the Aligned CEO CEO, and it was a play on words. It was chief energy officer, chief executive officer of your life, chief executive officer of your business, chief executor, officer of all the parts of your body and chief executive officer of all the parts of your.
Astrology chart and chief Executive Officer of all the parts of your Human Design , obviously a little bit too heady for the average person, but you get what I'm saying. What do you want your life to look like? What do you want your business to look like?
And so at any time in life, what game are you playing in business? What game are you playing? There are rules to every game. You don't have to play by the rules, but if you wanna be conventionally successful, some rules you have to play by. And so at any given time, you're deciding that for yourself. So one of the things I'd like for you to be thinking about is what game are you playing right now?
What are the rules of that game? And what are the rules that you have to do? What are the rules that people tell you to do but you don't actually have to do? And what are the rules that you wanna do? And [00:13:00] when you can find the balance of those three. I think that's when you're gonna stick for something.
Stick with something for a long time.
We are now reflecting on that for ourselves. Who is the author of our life? What are the rules of that life? Who is the authority of our life? What does consistency look like? And it's consistency over time. There's a reason that Saturn rules father time. It's because if you don't stick to the thing for a long time, you're not gonna get the results.
You understand that consistency and longevity go together because what do you want to be consistent with? I think we talk a lot about what's gonna work. We talk a lot about what's the game, but what about the game of life that you wanna play?
What are the rules that you wanna follow? Because in my world, for me, when I try to follow rules that are not me, I am not going to stick it out to the end. I'm not gonna follow [00:14:00] through. And that's why I don't like it when people say like, oh, defined heart. People have this crazy willpower. I have just as much willpower as everybody else.
And so do you. That is a nice way to stay sucked, to be like, oh, people with defined heart wake up and they wanna lift heavy things no, I do that because I want to, because I know it's gonna make me better because it's about self-identity and I don't want Human Design to get confused with self-identity.
That's what makes this stuff look bad to the outside world because there's a lot of people who decide they wanna tune out.
From reality into this fake world that is not fake. But your self-identity is way more important. What do you think you're capable of? How do you view yourself? And in my world, self-identity comes from your subconscious mind. It also comes from the things we don't know, we don't believe in it. In the conventional space, which is past lives. Family constellations, ancestral wounds. It's not just this lifetime in my version of the world. It's all of it. And the one thing that we can do [00:15:00] every single day is focus on our self identity and become the person we say we're gonna be.
I think that's what I don't really like about the business podcasting space. It's a lot of people who pretend to be perfect at the time, and then 20 years later you're like, oh, I, I had a raging pill addiction. Me and my wife didn't get along. I was miserable. I was on the edge of bankruptcy.
Okay, so you just painted this fucking picture for the rest of us. What about conversations between people who are just actually getting going through it? We are not on, we're not selling our company for $5 million.
I'm closing out a business as we speak, it was a successful project. I did what I wanted to do. I was first to market. I changed an industry. Did I sell it for $5 million? No. Am I in a place where I never have to work again? No. Does that mean it was a failure
and the unscripted path is about, none of it is a failure, and no one gets to tell you what a failure is other than you. The only person you owe anything to is your future self. I want you to go out feeling like you did everything you wanted to do [00:16:00] in and outta business, in and out of life.
July 7th. Is a powerful day that affects you, that affects anybody doing anything different in the world. That affects sales, messaging, marketing. That affects the stories we tell ourselves, which ultimately comes down to the meaning we make of things.
And that affects anyone trying to do anything different. Because a lot of people that are attracted to me, they are in the old paradigm, but they're building things for the new paradigm. they're pushing the envelope of what is acceptable.
And it's not an easy place to be because that's when you're mocked, that's when you're misunderstood. That's when you don't have the guides to guide you because they haven't done what you do. And it's not easy. But we're entering a time where it's gonna get easier,
