Why Frequency Matters More Than Canned Information [E68]

Why Frequency Matters More Than Canned Information [E68]

There's a moment in every entrepreneur's journey where they want someone to just hand them the blueprint. Skip the inner work. Skip the self-examination. Just give me the recipe and let me get to the money.

I had a participant in a recent talk say exactly that—half-joking, half-serious. "We don't want to do work on ourselves. Just give us the recipe."

And honestly? That belief is precisely why so many people end up buying the polished, overpriced nonsense the online business world loves to sell.

But here's the thing I told her: there *is* a recipe. It's just not the one most people think.

When I said "recipe," she assumed I meant something like a Human Design chart.

Your Human Design chart isn't a recipe for anything. It's information. Useful, maybe, but inert on its own.

Your recipe isn't your data.

Your real recipe is how *you* specifically speak, communicate, sell, market, and influence. It's the signature pattern of your influence.

That's what I call a Resonance Read — your specific influence recipe, mapped out before you build anything else on top of it.

Because everything starts with resonance.

Here's what resonance actually is.

Resonance is the first step. It's the frequency you carry and the way it lands with the people meant to hear you.

You can create resonance through almost any channel, but where it really lives—in your voice, your visual presence, in person, on a podcast, on video.

Resonance is not recognition.

You can absolutely earn recognition without resonance.

Sharp copywriting can make people see themselves in your words and lean in.

That works.

But if you're someone with something to say—a genuinely unique frequency, the ability to move a room — then recognition alone undersells you. In the age of AI, resonance is  a point of differentiation and leverage.

PS: Resonance is not conversion...and no one said it was.

The New Paradigm: Frequency over Information.

We are drowning in information. AI made sure of that. The era of winning attention by knowing more than the next person is over.

What matters now is dialing in the *frequency* of what your people actually need to hear—and being the one who can transmit it.

Your tribe doesn't need more data. They need the signal that's tuned to them. That's the shift, and it's only going to become more central as we move forward.

Build your Foundation Your Way.

If I had listened to all the advice about how and when to start a podcast—all the rules about what you "need" before you begin—I never would have started one.

Instead, I did exactly what I wanted to do.

And it worked for my needs.

I attracted people through resonance. Those early clients became the foundation of the alchemical advisory work I now do and am bringing more out into the world.

There are countless ways to build a foundation.

You get to build yours your way.

I'll say that until I'm blue in the face. You also get to play the game you want to play, when you want to play it—and to treat your business like a game rather than a grind.

Change is the Price of Admission.

As this work becomes more formal, the ad hoc, off-the-cuff, recorded-in-the-car energy of how I've did this podcast has to evolve.

Scheduling and structure—it all changes the shape of things. But that evolution is the whole point.

If you don't change, you don't evolve. You don't grow. That's what the New Paradigm is asking of all of us. With grace and easy.

Resonance first.

Frequency over noise.

Foundation your way.

That's the order of operations — and it's where anything real ever begins.
